Does everybody in the league play Vegas before the Flames do?

My god Boeser left alone in front and absolutely rips it top corner against Carey Price.

Knights might have to be considered cup contenders at this point. They just win.

Imagine being a Canucks fan and having to celebrate a Vanek hattrick while still losing to Montreal. Looks like maybe 15 hats were thrown.

Glen needs to make it abundantly clear that there will be 0 partying and no one so much as leave their hotel room outside of team functions until they bring him 2pts. At which point they can go nuts and he'll even have 3am sandwiches ordered for them at the front desk for when they inevitably stagger back hammered and starved.

It would be a distinctly old school thing to do and I feel like it would work too.

They need to stay outside of the city. Maybe at Lake Las Vegas.

Gallant has those guys running through a wall. Classic case of the whole is more than the sum of its parts.

And the fans there go crazy. Great atmosphere when I was there and they beat the Blues in OT. Looks at the scenes in the crowd tonight after the goal, no regular season Flames game comes close to the scenes of people hugging each other in the stands, unless it’s clinching the playoffs. The cynical side may say that the fall in a few years may hit harder as a result of this early phenomenal success, but they are full value for the work they put in shift after shift after shift.

If this was the league giving the GTA a second team and the Guelph Mounties doing this, there would daily TSN and Sportsnet updates on the historic run. It truly is remarkable. Tied for 2nd in the league now after 33 games.

Good for Vegas and Engellend. Shame they are in the Flames division and you cant root for them more.

As for Boeser, appear the flowers Randorf sent along with the tear stained hand written sympathy note seemed to willed him back into game action.

Goes to show you don't need to be loaded up the wazoo with talent to win in this league.

Just need belief, confidence, to still have fun playing the game, and a solid coaching staff behind the bench doesn't hurt either.

I have been waiting for Vegas to fall off, but at this point I don’t think it’s happening. Calgary’s best shot at the playoffs is likely a wildcard, which is going to be tough.

The goal is rather to overtake the Sharks for 3rd, which should be very doable. They are mostly riding their special teams, which will probably fall down to earth. They have a few games in hand at the moment though.

No kidding. The Jets, Flames barely get a mention this year but Mitch Marners diet and Babcock drivel is daily. The Knights are the hockey story of the year.

Judging by the disparity between the records of the two teams I don’t think that will be a problem for the Knights. Even if they play .500 hockey the remainder of the season the Flames will be in tough to catch them.
