Shouldn't have shat the bed in the first 40. Doesn't excuse anything because in the end, they still lose by setting themselves back.

This team is what it is. One that is greatly underperforming, and will yield mediocre results. As long as they don't respect the first period, and continue to give up the first goals, and not improve their first period goal differential, they're not going to amount much noise.

I would rather see Brodie off this team before any other changes...

Embarrassing game and unacceptable effort that should result in every member of the coaching staff losing their jobs. Scoring a few goals late against a crap goaltender changes nothing.

Thanks for being ready and showing up for a total of 8 minutes against your biggest rival without their 2 best defencemen and starting goaltender.

Feel bad for Brodie. He’s been the goat a few times this year. Not so sure about GG anymore, I haven’t had a strong opinion on him either way the past 2 years but he strikes me more as a good assistant coach, but not the guy who drives the bus. God I hate losing to the Oilers

Gulutzan changed his whole system in the 3rd. The team responded. Incredible coaching. Give him a raise.

Why can't this team play 60 minutes???

A period here a period there isn't good enough!

It is so obvious. Our defense sucks

The exciting near comeback is irrelevant and doesn't erase the stench that was the majority of that game. Unacceptable and this team is playing well below expectations. Coaching change needed.

On a positive note nice to see Bennet with a bit of confidence.

And how do you figure we'd be doing if brodie was paired with a worse partner than hamonic?

I'm not usually one for knee-jerk reactions but I'd support a move on from T.J. Brodie at this point.

Brutal game, the score flattered the Flames. 3rd period comeback be damned, that was a pitiful effort against a bottom feeder that will probably use this win to make a decent run now. No excuse to lose like this. None.

That early 4-minute power-play set the tone for the rest of the game until the 3rd. Had a bad feeling after that.

Worth repeating, Flames 10-1-1 vs Oilers before Gulutzan, 0-5-1 since.

Hamilton looking like how Boumester did, him and Brodie have stunk it up the whole season. Hamonic was a waste of assets

Smith's back is sore from carrying the team most nights. There was bound to be a game like this at some point.
