I really like Stajan, but not as a hockey player for the Flames anymore.
I would much rather see us call up some young guys.

Stolen from Twitter
Fun Fact: The history of the @NHL, founded 100 years ago today, can be tracked through five players.
Jaromir Jagr played against Guy Lafleur, who played against Gordie Howe, who played against Dit Clapper, who played with/against Cy Denneny, who played on opening night. #NHL100

Little surprising Jagr didn't also play against Cy Denneny.

I apologize if I missed some sort of explanation before, but what's the reason for Kulak being out? It isn't an injury right? Just wondering why he would get slotted out when he has been playing so well and has proven an upgrade to Bart.

Bart needs to play every now and then, plus, you often don't mess with a lineup that won. Those are my only explanations.
Penalty aside, he was OK last game. But I'd put Kulak back in, myself.

Good stuff - reminds me of the 6 degrees of separation of Mike Sillinger thread on HF, which is a must read btw.
As for the actual post, I would imagine that Guy Lafleur could be replaced by a large number of players... Jagr joined the league in 1990, and Howe played into the 80s, so there must be plenty of players that played against both of them. Mark Howe would be one, for instance. But Lafleur is as good a choice as any, of course.

Johnny Gaudreau ranked #1
https://www.thescore.com/news/1423131
Quote:
Since the beginning of November, no player has recorded more points than Calgary's Gaudreau, whose eight goals and 11 assists have him level with Schenn for the month.
Over that stretch, he's jumped into a tie for second in NHL scoring with Kucherov, and is just two points back of Stamkos for the lead.

Not really worth reading though, just a quick fantasy hockey comment.
