I don't want to blame anything on the refs but it feels like they're taking control of games with their calls and non-calls. Part of it is the dumb play of some on the team but there doesn't seem to be a clear line of what's a penalty and what isn't. I'm just venting and frustrated.
Need a BIG win tonight.
|
Yeah I get that. It's got some of the team second guessing themselves, and off their game. Ferland and Hamilton come to mind.
Coach might be well served to tell them to relax a bit. Stay disciplined but don't get beat up if the whistle blows. The refs gonna ref. Some of it is just the luck of the call.

ya it's like Belsarius said, someone on the other team does something and there's no call but someone on the Flames does it and gets called for it. I watched a game with a buddy and he said the Flames are still being haunted by the "Ghost of Wideman" so some guys are just in their own heads and aren't playing their style and they're not getting results.

Just get the 2 points, I don't care how. They need to get a streak going on this homestand just to keep pace in the division.
Can't believe Vegas is 7-1. Who the hell saw that coming? Even the freakin' Canucks have a better record that we do right now. That's unacceptable.

Boooo....no reason to pull Kulak out. He's been good. Bartkowski has been.....not so good.

I thought Kulak played well enough to stay in the lineup, at least as good if not better than Bartkowski had

Why would Kulak come out? He looked really good. This team makes no sense sometimes.
And that 4th line is atrocious. Is it any wonder they've yet to score a goal this year? Stajan needs to go, don't care where but he isn't an NHLer. Same with Glass. A lot of dead weight on this team.

If anyone should be benched it's Hamonic.
Very underwhelmed by him so far. Way overrated IMO.

The only real (slight) advantage I've seen that Bartkowski has over Kulak is speed. Bart clears the zone faster (to my eye).

He's been the third best D man this season behind Gio and Brodie. Don't see a problem in his game at all.
