Vrbata with the hat trick! 7-2 Panthers. 7th hat trick of his career.

Pardon me, it's a "rat" trick as the rats come out on the ice to celebrate.

Leafs don't always lose, but when they do, it's 6-3.

Polak looks so slow out there. Who knew? Oh right, everyone!

Panthers continue to lay the boots to the Ducks, now 8-3.

Ducks clearly just want to go home.

Leads need some defence. Might be time to dangle Marner for a good d man.

So yotes still can't win a game without Mike Smith.

Radulov scores to tie it for Dallas

Kings shutout the Habs 4-0. In Montreal.

That will go over well with the fan base, yikes.

I watched him play live vs. the Sharks, and I wasn't impressed with his game: a lot of offensive cheating and floating without the puck. When played physical he becomes a non-factor. I think when forced to play D, or when word gets out about him, he will disappear.

No thanks. As the Flames have shown, doesn't matter how awesome your defenders are you will still let in many goals. I'd rather have a team that can score goals. Trade Marner for who? You aren't going to get close to full value for him anyways so just keep him. He's going to be good.

Leafs need to get rid of JVR and send Polak to the pressbox. They will still suck defensively but I am so sick of JVR. Dude gets points but is lazy as hell. Media used to rag on Kessel when he was here but Kessel always tried. JVR just coasts on defence. Whatever line he is on becomes a defensive black hole.

They can't keep the puck out of their net and have no top pairing d men. Their best defenceman would struggle to make the Flames top 4.

You need to give up a good player to get one back no need to be offended.

Not offended. Just saying I don't really think trading for a D-man would magically make this team good defensively.

And honestly Reilly would make your Top 4. Hasn't Brodie not been the same player since last season? And Harmonic doesn't look so great so far. You guys supposedly have one of the best defensive groups in the league but have allowed 30 goals to the Leafs 36. Out of the top 17 teams in the league by points: Pens have allowed the most, Leafs second, Flames third.

No thanks.

How is Vancouver beating Washington? How did they go 4-1 or 5-1 whatever it was on their last road trip? Shocking.
