4-1 Vegas now.

It could all be smoke and mirrors, but they actually look really good.

I expect Vegas will fall off, but I don't think they'll end up being as bad as I had originally thought. I think they're playing on adrenaline right now.

What's really impressive about Vegas is that Fleury and Subban are both injured, and after his hot start Neal has really cooled off too. It's their less proven/complete unknowns that are getting it done. Reilly Smith is killing it.

Their next game is at home Friday against the Avs. They could be 8-1. That's pure craziness.

We could have had Gaudreau AND Kucherov!
So could a lot of teams... hindsight

The Coyotes are brutal and still can't win a game. Big road wins for the Ducks and Lightning, Anaheim embarrasses the Flyers 6-2. The Sabres with a 1-0 reg win, Lehner with a 32 save SHUTOUT. Howard also faced 32 shots in the loss.

The Canucks also win 1-0 in reg time, Nilsson with the 29save SHUTOUT. Matt Nieto with the hattrick and Blake Comeau with 3 assists as the surprising Avs win 5-3 over the Stars. The Habs wake up and beat the Panthers 5-1. The Knights keep hitting the jackpot and win again, it's amazing with their luck. Thank you Penguins for beating the Oilers even though it was in OT. Thanks for nothing Sens as the Kings win 3-2 in the SO.
