One thing I want to see is better passing. That was a huge issue last game.

It looks like he's just reading the play wrong more than anything, but he also looks really slow to react.

I know it's all about stats these days but the eye test with Mike Smith is ridiculously positive. I've seen two chances that easily could have gone in with Elliot last season. At least one of them assuredly would have.

The trouble with the four line is that they forecheck well, but when they finally lose possession, they lack speed to come back fast.
