Rooster, the PM traveling costs a bunch of money, regardless of the name of the Prime Minister... I mean #### Harper cost the taxpayers 3.4M+ for his annual sojourn to the Arctic. Is it a bunch of money? Sure... but unless you think the Prime Minister (again regardless of name) should be chained to desk for the duration of his term there are gonna be costs. Yeah it doesn't cost regular folk 200K for a family vacation... but regular folk don't require RCMP protection and can travel on standard airlines.

Sounds pretty reasonable given the security requirements. The dude's allowed to take some freaking vacations.

No he is not, not on my dime! When did we forget the 'Servant' part of 'Public Servant?' I kid, I kid.

This isn't hill that any anti-Trudeau person should die on. The guys allowed to have a vacation and as head of state he's going to need security.

At least this one seems to be clear and free of possible conflict issues.

It's almost as though the heads of major nations require round the clock security.

If this is the best reason you have for manufactured outrage, then Trudeau must be doing an amazing job

Ya I was pretty firm for NDP but def support Trudeau and the Libs now in power. It's incredible to see the manufactured bull#### outrage over what has been a very good government. Canada's standing in the world has definitely improved under what I would call boring and effective centrist leadership.
