This contract is a bit steep, but not terrible. Hanzal is on the decline though.

I know right-wing is a more pressing issue for them but I still think Dallas has made huge improvements this off-season.

Hitchcock in, Bishop, Methot, and now Hanzal with Heiskanen as a future defenseman. Out is pretty much just Eaves of importance because Sharp, Hudler, and Hemsky barely played or did much for them.

They still got the cap space, if they did manage to land Radulov as being rumoured, that's quite the off-season turn around.

Ya, I think they will have a bounce back season. Compared to the other teams in the conference this seems like the most changes, positive changes for Dallas.

Will be interesting how it works on the ice and not just paper.

Contract is ok for a player that is subtraction by addition. Hanzel loses everywhere he goes. Prototypical Cooler.
