We do longest drive, closest to the pin on a par three, and longest putt (usually on the 18th green). Then there's a separate prize for highest and lowest score. That seems to work out pretty well, because teams are often divided unequally. So even if you're stuck on a team that is inevitably going to lose, you still have a chance to win something, if that matters to you at all. Really it's all about drinking beer anyway.

In my experience people at golf tournys are too damned drunk to care whose cheating. All the care about is when the beer cart is coming and who is buying.

You could do the pink ball/sleeve thing but make the rule that only one club is used for the entire hole and it's of the opposite hand. Nobody has an advantage

at our course for the fun tournaments I go in, the pro always gives away a driver or good pair of shoes etc, by doing heads or tails. People stand up and put their hands on their heads or asses and he flips a coin, "everyone with their hands on their heads.........sit down" and on and on, always a crowd pleaser, as it usually comes down to 2 random people.
