I've been going to Seattle for 12 years now for Jays games (last year was the first I've missed in a long time). It's an absolute gong show in a fun way, gets crazier every year, and this year it's on a weekend in the summer.

15-20k Jays fans? Nope. I bet there will be 25-30k there this year and they'll all have the same idea (Pike Place, Pop Museum, Chihuili Museum, Needles, etc. I'd bet you couldn't book an underground tour if you tried right now because they are likely already all booked.

It's amazing to see all the Jays jerseys and hit up the Pyramid Brewery Party but if you are going to see some sights, extreme wait times and aggrevation will be the norm . Much better in my opinion to just stay a few days after because 80% of the Jays travelling circus are from BC and they drive home the minute the last pitch is thrown. Seattle is an amazing city, you can't experience properly when the Jays are there though.

Where the hell do you get negative in what I said? I go every year, it's awesome, but ts definitely not a great time to do anything other than go to the game and drink around the stadium though and watch the gong show unfold, but that's what I go for.

For anyone who likes craft beer, I would highly recommend Outlander Brewery in Seattle. Great beer! Just a bit outside of downtown as well so it likely won't be as overrun as the Pioneer Square Establishment. A quick Uber. We're gonna hang out there all day on Saturday ahead of the game.

One more point. Use Uber everywhere in Seattle. It's half the cost of a taxi, and the taxis in that City really like to screw tourists. If they sniff you out as a tourist and pick you up anywhere downtown and go to stadium, Pioneer Square, Space Needle, Pike Place, etc., they generally don't even put the meter on. Will just demand $15-20 bucks. Uber is anywhere from $6-$10 depending on traffic.

The pop museum is really cool. Last summer they had a Star Trek exhibit but I believe it was temporary

Dinner on the space needle is nice. Maybe a little pricey for quality of the food but views are worth it.

Origianl starbucks is down by the market.
I think that exhibit is permanent. They attached a psy-Fi museum to the pop museum that comes with your cost of entry. That's Star-Trek exhibit has been there for as long as I've been going to Seattle. Has some Star Wars and other stuff in it as well.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone, although we are going for my brother stag it's turning into more of a fathers sons trip with the fathers of the groom and bride and their sons. We are going to be there from Wednesday-Wednesday so we will be able to sight see before and after the Jays series.

On a side note for those of you heading there check out Turo if you want to rent some cool cars. I scooped up a Hellcat and Tesla X for a day each and it was only about $300usd for both with their signup coupon.

Lastly anyone headed to the game, impromptu CP meetup and I'll buy a round ?

I was going to go the Turo route when I was in Arizona earlier this month for a sweet ride. Called my insurance company to see how that worked, and they indicated they wouldn't cover that even though they cover rental cars for me (TD Meloche). May want to look into that. The agent didn't really have any idea as to what I was talking about though, so she could have been wrong.

We should have a meet up at the Pyramid Brewery Beer Garden before the Friday game.

Weed is legal there too which is handy for a bachelor party. Lots of good dispensaries all over Seattle.

LOL no just get some stuff that's not couch-lock material. The good thing about there being actual shops to go to is that you can pick the type of weed that's a party starter not a party ender.

Also, it's nice to help fight a hangover the next day.
