Yeah, in November, I got a lot of chirping from Kings fans - but nothing bad. Ducks fans barely acknowledged my enemy jersey. Playoffs might be a bit different, especially with the GMs cranking up a war of words though. Doubt it gets bad. Chill people down there. The shag coloured arena probably mellows them out.

Large blocks of tickets are readily available on Ticketmaster and tickets can be found on StubHub for below face value.

Prior to the final standing settling this series match-up I already had tickets to see the Jays play the Angels on the 23rd plus a weekend getaway to Mexico. So I had to settle for nosebleeds as my Visa is already bleeding itself. Whatever, at least I'll be there sporting Red!

Game 1 - Section 440
Game 2 - Section 429

The worst seats at the Pond are still pretty good. It's one of the smaller arenas in the league, with a capacity just over 17,000. Even the furthest seats aren't that far from the ice.

Bought lower bowl corner seats online today for $101 us each. I'll be there for game one in section 203 with the family all jerseyed up.

I implore all of you to try and work some voodoo magic on that god-forsaken building this week while you're down there. Maybe slap a bunch of Flames stickers on random spots throughout the building, or sacrifice a live duck in the parking lot...whatever works.

For those that are making the trip, what airport did you decide to fly into and what hotels?

We already had a trip planned. Flying into LAX and staying in Laguna Beach. Not sure the hotel. Laguna is only 35 mins from the Pond.

Set an Odyssey on fire and crash it through the front door.

Will be at Game 2 with family, all in red! I am hoping to get to at least 2 in Anaheim but will see how it all plays out. Still hoping to get to Game 1 but if not then Game 5 for sure.

Lets break this stupid curse talk Game 1!

Best places to get tickets are ticketmaster and/or stubhub. Still lots available today when I looked and still at reasonable prices. There are no real bad seats in the Honda center and the people are pretty relaxed.

Go Flames Go!

Those CP 1%ers still in Calgary should buy up any remaining seats and leave them empty just to stifle the home ice advantage.

For the more adventurous, tickets can likely be had for a good price at the corner of Katella and Douglass-cash only! It's been a few years but had a good time at JT Schmid's across the street from the rink before the game, met a couple at the bar that had two extra lower bowl seats and we got to watch the game in way better seats than the cheap ones I got from stubhub!

It may depend for you on whether you need or want a direct flight, but if you can, fly into John Wayne Airport (SNA). Puts you far closer to the Pond.

If you choose to cheap out on hotel, there is an Extended Stay America across from the arena. It's separated by a small river though, so it's actually about a 10 minute walk to the Pond.

That was comical, we followed two Flames fans from the parking lot and look who it is.
