Right now I'm having a hard time imagining another 600 goal and 60 career fight player coming along. Even missed out on a prime year of his career.

He did look somewhat rejuvenated after the trade. If a good team is interested he may be able to offer something but it would have to be the right situation.

I hope he comes to Calgary for 1 final year.
I'm very bitter he was left off the NHL top 100 list. It's an insult IMO.

How can a guy hit 1300 points and not make it? Just baffling.

Congrats to Jarome. Still don't see how he was passed on making the "Top 100 NHL Players" list. Hope he plays one more season, and finishes his last handful of games in a Flames uniform!

Is it fair to say he might be pushing 1500 points if not for the lockouts? Hard to say wouldn't have had 80 in 04-05 alone.

If you take away the 2 lockouts and his knee injury. And if he played next year. He's no question pushing 700 goals and maybe 1500 points

I hope Iginla plays for another couple of years, and retires with a Stanley Cup ring.

Would have loved for him to have passed the milestone in a Flames jersey going into the playoffs. Either way, it's a great milestone for a great player.

He's exactly what the Flames are missing going into a playoff series against the Ducks..

He was arguably the best player in the world for the two seasons before the lockout, and if the NHL has been around for 100 years, that should put him in the top 50 (simple arithmetic). There are quite a few on that list that would never be in a conversation about world's best player during their peak years.

15g / 30p is still valuable in this league.

That 2005 lockout was a darn shame, as was 2013, but to a lesser extent.
You'll obviously never know, but between 1.5 seasons I think you could confidently say Iggy would have had an extra 80 points. Or even 100, and we'd be celebrating his 1400th career point right now.

If he played a full season on LA, it would probably be closer to 20-25G

I think this too... plus Iginla would likely be in the 700 goal range by now. His numbers over his career are just awesome! Hope he comes back to the flames next season. Would be a great option to move up and down the line up.
