Watching Hometown Hockey intermission in Hamilton with Tom Cochrane singing...Hamilton is full of rednecks.

Ron Maclean is so annoying. I like Tara Sloan. She seems a lot more natural than Ron Maclean. He just comes across as too affected.

It is great! Lots of celebrating at the Joe today. I will miss that arena.

Commentators just mentioned that both Bob Probert's wife and Brad MacCrimmon's wife brought their husbands ashes to the game today, they both felt they should be there.

Hope so. I'm not ready for him to be done yet. I'll feel old.

Riley Sheahan (goal less in all 81 games this season) has 2 today.

Off topic, but congrats to Sergio Garcia on his Masters win! After 74 major events, this is his first majors win.

Also congrats to James Hinchcliffe on his first Indy win!

Now back to your regular scheduled programming.

New Jersey loses.

If Vancouver fails to get a point tonight (likely), the Devils will finish 27th overall. That may not sound like an accomplishment, but it would be the highest any Taylor Hall NHL team has finished in an 82 game season.

The Oilers finished 24th in the lockout-shortened season. Other than that, Hall has not played for a team that has finished any higher than 28th (30th once, and 29th & 28th twice each).

If the Nucks do get a point tonight, the Devils will drop to 28th.

Romanuk still hasn't learned to control his emotions since he's come back to North America. Absolutely nothing happening with the Leafs pullng the goalie and he's screaming and yelling like they are getting glorious chances.

BJs win. Leafs vs Caps, Sens vs Bruins.

Even Eddie Lack's dad thinks they show Matthews' parents too often.

Yep, they have an alert saying they're going to the game as soon as the closing ceremonies are done.

I hate it when they show parents etc. Smacks of amateurish homerism.
