Flames spent most of the actual gameplay either icing the puck by accident or dumping it in for Bishop to play.

Definitely looks like he's playing for a contract.

I thought the first period was quite entertaining. It got bad in the second when the Flames deviated from their game of speed and skill and got suckered into playing Sutter hockey and went downhill from there.

Disappointing, but that will happen sometimes. No biggie- regroup and get ready for San Jose

Second line needs to be better. Tkachuk may be a bit of a distraction right now. They all need to go to vintage and crush a couple steaks and tell stories about putting this team on their back when the days were only 8 hours long.

Really disappointed we didn't clinch tonight. Flames got suckered into playing old time hockey for 2 periods, and it threw them off their game.

But let's be honest, the PP was the real goat in this one. You're not gonna win many games when you go 0/6. They'd better get it figured out before the playoffs start, or it'll be a short series no matter who we play. If they had converted on just one of those early PPs, the momentum shifts and they probably win this game.

What more can you say about Iggy. Dude was a beast tonight, and I still love the guy.

Anyways, I guess we'll just have to clinch against the Sharks on Friday. Flames know what they have to do, and I think they'll be ready for that one.

That loss was 100% on the PP, have to generate something on six attempts. No excuse for the coach not to have Hamilton on the first unit.

Judging by the interest at the trade deadline I think he'd be lucky to get a contract from anyone. He may have looked great in his time with the Kings but I highly doubt he could maintain that effort over an entire season. He doesn't have the foot speed anymore.

As long as they sort out their bugs in these last few games and get themselves prepared for playoffs, that's what matters. Other pacific teams will lose too - they're playing each other now. So they'll most certainly have a chance to catch teams down the stretch if they get back to taking care of business.

I really hope the boys learn from tonight. Bring that quality of hockey they're capable of on friday. No more penalty parades, please.

Perfectly said. Flames did a good job at first drawing penalties but I hope the coaching staff really works out the kinks on the PP

well, it was a crappy game...

i'd be ok with a loss if it was a hard fought game.... instead Calgary looked distracted/disinterested.

Erase, Reset, Replay.

Time to bring your A game versus SJ

Entertaining sure, but also detrimental when everybody got into it.
