Thanked for number nine, number nine, number nine...and the double Engelland beast mode.

Always trouble with Winnipeg it seems. Awesome to see the Dougie skating news.

GO FLAMES GO!!!

would be great if Hamilton was good to go. Too bad for mama Andersson though.

He played one game with him (the one we lost to VAN in OT because of Miller going Vezina mode) and there was only 1 cringe-worthy shift between the two together. So now that Bart's got some swagger and knows the system better, along with Wideman being rested and chomping at the bit, I hope they're much more reliable on the back end.

Jets forwards can expect to get their shin pads tested tonight with Wideman back in the lineup. At some time he'll hammer one right into Lowry's shin pads fall on the pivot and give up a two on one.

If there is anything to feel good about Mr. Wideman drawing back in, he has in the past come out and played some good hockey after a scratch. He knows he has to be good. He HAS to be fired up. Well rested. He's going to score the winning goal tonight and be the hero. Yeah.

Come on Dennis, I believe in you.

If Moose keeps playing like he has during the last 10 games he will give the team a chance even with Wideman. But I expect Wideman to be ready to go and wanting to play for that next contract for another team.

I'm much more comfy with that defensive lineup. Not so much because I like Wideman over Andersson. More because that keeps the top pair intact, the middle pair has some game experience together and did OK, and I like Bart-Wideman better than Kulak-Wideman or Wideman-Anderson. I do give an edge to Wideman over Andersson because of experience, but I wouldn't be fussed either way. At the end of the day, no need to burn a callup.

Just another shout out out to our announcers. Despite the audio issues they have been having fun on this streak. I laughed numerous times during the Montreal game! Hrudey online lip reading course... Hahaha!
