4. Helps guarantee Sedins continue their decline in Vancouver.
5. Helps keep Benning employed (win)
6. Ducks have a lot of the ex-Canucks we really hate
The whole world of struggling to hope for results that benefit the Flames due to the other teams involved has always been very difficult for me to get into.

I get it, and I hate the Oilers, Canucks etc as much as anyone, but it's always been very easy for me to look at a game, see who we need to win that best benefits the Flames and hope for that result.

Ducks look lost and/or disinterested. Excellent.

I agree - if the Oilers winning a game clinched both the Oilers getting the Presidents cup and the Flames making the playoffs, I'd be good with an Oiler's win (and would immediately need a shower).

It feels awkward saying this but Go Nucks Go! I'm really hoping the Ducks lose their next 2 and Calgary moves into 3rd.

It feels awkward saying this, but all this Trevor Linden stuff has been pretty good.

Look at Randy Carlyle looking down after the goal just like that loser Glen Gulutzen. The easiest way to tell a loser coach is when they stare down at their feet after a goal against.

They must be talking about this game, no? I mean, even at 2-0 I am still expecting them to fold.

They were actually talking about playoffs as they were just showing the standings. Said because they beat LA last night and were up 1-0 and about to go on a PP.

Ducks aren't playing with much confidence or finish right now.

I honestly can't believe our luck with the teams we're battling. Calgary's great play aside, how awesome is it to have the Ducks, Kings and Blues all just tailspin at the same time?

The only team around us playing even decent hockey is Nashville, and even they're mediocre since the all star break.
