At the rate they're going they likely will. Playing themselves out of a spot right now.

They've only won 6 of their last 19 games.

What a strange season the Blues are having. Despite terrible goaltending they've been in the mix all along, seemed to want to get things going by firing Hitchcock and then… just gave up? Is this all about Shattenkirk?

Probably a combination of Mike Yeo being an awful coach and the Shattenkirk thing.

The Blues are such a weird team, supposedly they're right in their window to contend and yet Armstrong did nothing to address their obvious goaltending issues and sold off one of their most important d-men for futures. I have no idea what direction they're supposed to be going in.

Thank God we didn't hire Yeo, he is an awful coach.

The Leafs are horrible good to see them out of the playoffs right now. Also, I'm currently laughing at Karl who said this last week when I asked why he was cheering for Florida over Ottawa.

Nice to see $50 million dollar coach can't coach his team to play defense.

That's a shame. Probably the best low key troll on the site. Loved watching just how many people he could rope in with his posts.

Truly a master.

Well, it's almost springtime and usually that means the Leafs are out.

That is correct. Only in Canada do Leafs fall in spring.

The Islanders-Blackhawks game was fun to watch as it had terrific goaltending on both sides. The Islanders may get in the playoffs only to face the Capitals. The Blackhawks keep pace with the Wild as the 2-1 shootout win puts Chicago just one point back of the division and conference leading Wild.

The Penguins win 5-2 over the Lightning. Pittsburgh prevailed in the final period. Tampa Bay tied it at 2-2 early in the third period, but, soon after Streit scored the go ahead goal. He also assisted on a late insurance goal. Malkin had 3 points.

The Jets win 3-0 over the sinking Blues, Hellebucyk stopped all 29 shots for the shutout. Carter Hutton faced 37 shots in the loss, he kept the score close. It was a 1-0 game until two empty net goals were scored. Wheeler had three points.

The Coyotes defeat the Hurricanes 4-2. Shane Doan with three points and Cam Ward was back in net for Carolina.

The Ducks take over and win 5-2 over the stinkin' Leafs. LOL.
