Oh well, I settle for a nice 8 PM faceoff and a full 8 hour sleep after the game.

Go Flames!
The secret is to refresh CP in the commercials and post then. The 30-40 seconds doesn't matter then. Also post in intermissions.

Yup. If you do want to post, don't read the comments midgame or else you'll get spoiled.
I've lost count of the number of times something happened that I was already expecting because I scrolled too far.

Washington up 1-0 over the Kings already. We really need some OOT support this week.

Really awesome to see all the posts about a primetime game for our European comrades. CP really does a great job bringing Flames fans together. Lets keep the good play going and this will be a great game

I think so too. Can't remember last time we won a game like this. And correct me if I'm wrong- but a noon game in New York is crazy early Cgy time?

Yeah, theScorpion can go over your cable package and recommend the appropriate changes to watch this game if you'd like? You may even end up saving money if you ditch 56 channels.

Might as well keep it going.
I don't think Calgary will be able to handle the speed of the Wild Devils Rangers. I'm predicting a very ugly game for the home away team unfortunately. I hope i'm wrong.

Our last afternoon game, March 5, 2016 we beat Pitt in Pitt 4-2 with a really good game. I think its a bit overblown how bad the flames are in afternoon games. I feel like this was an iginla era issue

I think the thread title is bang on: if they can find a way to win this, the 'make the playoffs' belief is back in full swing. But it'll be tough.

It's a shame that, just when they start winning, and playing some of their best hockey of the season, the schedule serves up an afternoon game in NY followed a game in Pitt. History is not our friend here.

But get 3 points in these two games? And belief is in full swing again!

I think that's usually just the sign of a relatively mediocre team.

Reminds me of how teams used to come to Calgary and complain about high altitude....funny how that stopped being a thing once we stopped being elite.

Afternoon games on the road are usually a recipe for disaster. But if the Flames can beat the Wild, we can certainly beat the Rangers. Hoping for at least a point out of this one.

Will miss watching this game, since working today. Go Flames Go!

Hopefully they can keep the winning streak going.
