Eichell is good. I'm glad to see he is putting together a decent season after his injury. He's got something like 21 points in 28 games, 12 of em are goals.

I'd be ok with the Oilers losing 2 in a row (on their way to 10)

some musician and Gene starts talking about the Oilers organization and of course mentions Gretzky and company and he replies with "the Calgary Flames organization is a tremendous organization you know they've been great to us".

Haha.

Can someone with videoshop skills video shop Gene asking that question with a troll face and then as soon the guy starts talking about the Flames organization turn it into a crying troll face.

Marleau scores on the power play and it is his 500th career goal, 1-0 Sharks.

I don't think the Oilers are playing McDavid enough this period. #green text.

Man even if the Oilers make the playoffs McDavid is going to be drained. Has he come off the ice in the third? Babcock was correct.

Talbot should be exhausted by then, too

Expecting the Oilers to set the NHL record, breaking the tie.

ELEVEN straight seasons out of the playoffs.

Leafs sucks again. The last few games the have looked horrible. Prior to these games even when they lost they had a lot of jump and were winning puck battles. Lately they look completely uninterested.

Only Pat Kane has more ES and PP minutes for forwards. 20 year old burnout in 3-2--

Intense ending to the DAL vs WPG game, (intense for the entire 3rd really) happy no 3 point game in this one, sure looked like that was going to happen.

I am at still pissed the Flames didn't do their part to insure this.

Their records, excluding head to head:

EDM: 24-17-8 56 points
CAL: 26-21-2 54 points

If not for the Flames ####ting the bed in the season series, the Oilers' ticket to the playoffs would still be very much in doubt.

No, the Oilers will make it. Too much of a cushion and teams that are below the line are way too inconsistent. But I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they stumbled hard into the postseason with their saviour up front and in the net running into fatigue and get their butts handed to them in something like 5 games.

And just maybe at that point it'll hit them that the road to contention is a process, and a long and rocky one at that.
