I'll likely end up owing my friend a case of beer after this one. Maybe tonight try not getting behind 4-0 and seeing where that takes you.

I hope they are prepared so we don't have to listen to we weren't prepared quotes after the game.

How can you not be prepared for your job you get paid handsomely to do is beyond me.

I don't know the outcome, but I do know that after the game, Vegas oddsmakers increase the Flames odds of winning the Stanley cup to 2-1.

Has that top line been tried with Frolik before this year? Hopefully it sparks something.

What I really want to see tonight is the Giordano show. The guy is the highest paid player on the team and the captain and I've yet to see many games this year where he elevated his play and really sparked the team around him. I want to see the captain carry the team on his back like he did in that 1.5-2 year window where he was playing Norris level hockey.

Ffs. Does Chiasson have nude pictures of Gulutzen? It Chiasson his daughters boyfriend? Why is he getting all these opportunities?

I lol'd at the title.

It's time to respond. They got their day off yesterday from the sounds of things. I hope each player used it well, whether they needed the day away from the rink to clear their heads or they spent some time looking in the mirror.

I don't even care if we win since Ottawa has been a good team this year and we are on the road in our 3rd game in 4 nights. BUT, this is a big but, they need to be in this game from start to finish. Show a desire to compete, to find another gear, to come back from adversity.

Oh, and if our goalies could make a few saves in the 1st period so we don't give up the 1st goal for the umpteenth time, that would be swell.

Game 52 and Gulutzan has decided to finally try it. I'd actually put Tkachuk on that wing for a few upcoming games too. Why not?

On paper might be a swing and a miss with those lines. Haynes suggested Gaudreau-Backlund Frolik and Tkachuk-Monahan-Brouwer. I like those better but heres hoping this works out! Change is still good regardless.

Sens just shutout one of the hottest teams in the league. I expect them to win a close one 4-3

Steinberg tweeted that they are splitting up the 3M line and that he saw it coming.

I like to read Roger's tweet as being kinda catty. Even though he probably didn't mean it that way. Seems funnier to me.

I don't care if the Flames win or lose today. I want to see them be hard to play against. I want to see them hit. I want to see them skate hard, I want to see them play dirty. Somebody pushes you? Turn around and cross check them. Somebody slashes you? Slash'em harder! Elbow guys in the corner. Just downright be dirty. I don't care if they allow 5 power play goals on 30 chances. I want Ottawa going away feeling like they just played an 82 game regular season like all 82 games were played on the same day with Stanley Cup game 7 intensity.

Now we can see if the Chiasson disease is for real. If Backs and Tkachuk start sucking, we'll know why.

Wait, who am I kidding? We all know Chiasson is going to drag that line down faster than our team save percentage. Way to go Gulutzan -- promote the guy who stayed out too long on the first goal against Montreal to our actual first line.
