PGT: Flames score a goal but Habs score 4 more

I realize it's down times and it's not my place to tell other fans how to feel or behave but really all we can do is be patient and hope the all star break is coming at the right time. Nothing's working right now. Absolutely nothing. The goaltending is mirroring last season. The offensive players have all lost their scoring touch. The team is timid. The coach has no answers. The GM doesn't have a contract next season. Simply not great times to to be a fan of the franchise.

I don't think the team should make any major moves as this is the absolute worst time to make desperation moves. If Treliving is getting pressure from ownership to make a coaching chance so be it but I think the best thing that can happen is that the team plays things out and if they end up missing the playoffs everything can be reassessed in the offseason. It's been extremely frustrating and maddening but you don't want it messing with your day to day life. Things will get better and we just have to hope that it's sooner than later. I waited 14 long years for my other favourite team to make the playoffs. Things will happen a lot sooner for the Flames.

I think he may actually benefit from adding a player to protect his well being...
