Someone take them out of a playoff spot cause right now they don't deserve it. All this frustration would make more sense if they weren't. But I still can't toss in the towel on the season because the west is bad enough that they can be sitting in a wildcard spot.

All indications should say they should dominate possession if not win this game. The opposite happens.

Nothing makes sense!

Hate everything.

Lol. I thought he had a good game. I thought Johnny was the most disappointing forward tonight.

Isn't this a Devils team that has only won 4 of it's last 16? What can you say when they lose to a team like that at home? We just aren't seeing the progress as they just don't have the fight when things don't start out well for them.

"garbage team" literally has a 3 point lead on the playoff bar. In the mix EXACTLY where people thought they'd be.

Are people that fast to forget that? The Flames have done a lot of good over the last 20-25 games. Tonight was the not the norm of late. It was a stinker, stinkers happen. Move on.

He had two very good scoring chances.

Monahan despite his gimme goal was not very involved, and Gaudreau was horrible. These are their supposed best forwards. If not for Tkachuk, Backlund, Frolik, this team would be down there with the Coyotes and Avalanche.

Does this team have a single third period comeback win this season?

Embarrassing effort against one of the worst teams in the league. No excuse for that whatsoever.

The Flames don't deserve to be in the playoffs if they're gonna piss away points to bottom feeders. And this win one/lose one pattern they're currently in is not gonna cut it. McDoofus and the Oilers are gonna eat us alive tomorrow. Let's hope Johnson gets the start to at least give us a glimmer of hope.

Starting the good goalie against an eastern team on a back to back with a western rival is not good strategic coaching...

20 effing losses on the season already. I mean tie a game once in a while, why don't you?

This is going to be a trend. Win one lose one. Inconsistency, only one line producing. Very worrisome

This game has the brewing of a stinker. GG better get the boys prepped for tomorrow night or sadly Edmonton will blow the Flames out.

I'll be wearing my Flames jersey at Rogers Place tomorrow night, but considering bringing a paper bag as well.

Worried about tomorrow. Don't know if I can watch the upcoming beatdown. So disappointed in this team tonight.

Gaudreau and Bennett haven't been carrying their weight. For Johny its been 3 bad games in a row. For bennett its been maybe 10?

That's what I was thinking. This is the one time I'm hoping the win one/lose one trend continues.

One of the worst efforts this season for the #Flames. 44.8% possession, Devils had 33-16 edge in chances, 26-11 ES. http://hockeystats.ca/game/2016020638
