If all they want is clickbait, they should let me write articles for them. I'd create a lot more controversy than this old man ever could.

I have no doubt this man believes what he wrote.

Our first evidence came at a steak joint in Abbotsford. The waiter looked puzzled when I asked for steak sauce.
Well yeah. What kind of oaf goes out to a restaurant, orders a steak for $35, and then puts frickin' steak sauce on it.

Dude . . . my hands are like totally huge.

And steak sauce on a steak is like pooping on a diamond.

If there's one thing Abbotsford is known for, it's fancy steak joints. I bet he went to a White Spot.

According to Google Maps, their are 3 steak places, and no, I'm not doing the Simpsons joke.

You've got the Bavarian Restaurant, the Pizza Place and The Keg. Any guesses which one?

Clearly a pro pot restaurant. He should have expected this.

Have a heart you guys. I know the article could have been researched and written better. However, I think the writer is just extremely concerned about how legalizing pot may cause harm to society.

I tend to think that the timing of the legislation couldn't be worse. It comes at a time when we are experiencing very serious problems associated with drug use in general.

To me, smoking pot is just one more way to avoid reality...alcohol is bad enough. I think increased drug use is exacerbated by increased stress levels, and the pressures associated with the economic downturn has definitely seemed to increase the overall stress level.

I can imagine how the incidence of road rage will be, when the slower driving pot smokers take to the road, especially in Calgary where there is an overabundance of anxious, frustrated, and speedy drivers.

The waiter's reaction is completely understandable. Sober or not, I'd have the exact same reaction as the waiter. In fact my sister in law always requests I cook her steak well done and I give her that same puzzled look.

The real embarrassment in this article is some dolt asking for A1 steak sauce or whatever other crap for a freakin' steak. Impossible to take this article, or any other future article by this author seriously in the future knowing what I know about him.

I kept waiting for you to say, "ah forget it, I'm stoned." But alas a punchline never came.

What ever happened to that guy anyway? Haven't heard his hilarious nickname around these parts for awhile. Did he retire or something?

Obvious solution: everyone has to get high before they drive.

But yeah, drugs bad, alcohol bad, restrict choice, think of the children, etc.

Dowbiggin went back to Toronto. I think he was with the Globe and Mail, but is currently trying to be the next big thing in blogging.

That's one way to look at it. Another is that legalized pot offers a way for people to get high safely without buying drugs off the street, at a time when street drugs are increasingly lethal.

What a horrible, horrible article. My god, it's so awfully written and anecdotal.
