I am curious to see how much Costco is going to be selling them for on Monday. They currently have the curved 4K on sale for around $1200, but that deal ends today. They have no advertising for prices on boxing day.

I just got the Boxing Day deals email from Costco about an hour ago. $799 for the flat. I think the curved one is $999 but I have a feeling there are some different models out there.
They might have updated the prices on the website.

The Pixel might if you buy straight from Google, but otherwise no.

Boxing Day/Week/Month Deals
Does anyone have experience buying a TV from Costco? Best Buy and Costco both have the flatscreen 4K smart TV ($799) on Monday. Who offers better warranty? Best Buy or Costco?
Edit: by better I mean cheaper for the term offered. Best Buy's four year warranty is $450. How many years does Costco offer, and for how much?

Best Buy's warranty is such a sham, lol. Considering the quick depreciation of TV's it's amazing they can find people that think paying an extra $450 makes any sense. Sure it could have an issue in year four that you get fixed under warranty, but you also spent $450 to get it fixed for "free". In year four I want a newer TV anyways.

I just bought a Samsung 75' on Black Friday from Costco. The extended 3-year warranty was $99 (5-years in total).
IMO, Costco offers the best warranty value. The TV I bought was available elsewhere but with Costco's return policy and how they stand behind their products it was a no brainer.
Also, the cost of the extended warranty is based on the purchase price of the TV so it might even be cheaper.

Also, Costco also advised that if they are unable to fix the TV in any of the years covered by the warranty, they just refund you the purchase price or you can exchange for something else.

As far as I know, Costco extends the manufacturer's warranty by a year, so you essentially get a 2 year warranty for no cost. Also, Costco's return policy and experience is fabulous. As long as you're in the return period, or it's covered by warranty, it's a basic walk-in and return.
However, because Costco uses a supplier that is different from many of the other big box stores, in my experience they have a higher rate of defective products (maybe hence the return/warranty policy).

Personally, I am looking to buy a gaming laptop. I see BestBuy has a sale on ASUS ROG laptops this boxing week, and I am looking at the ASUS ROG G752VS. It's on sale for $2499.99, which is well above what I had budgeted, but the machine looks like a beast at that price.

Any input on the model, specs, and price would be appreciated.

Shouldn't be an issue. If I recall you bought all their defective models.

I like that Amazon's Boxing Week is sponsored by Oral B. Consumerism on top of even more consumerism. Gotta love it.

You have to be a member of a professional association (ie Engineer, Accountant, Lawyer, etc). You have to get the code from your association and register with Brooks Brothers corporate unfortunately, you can't just walk in and say "I'm a lawyer!"

Thanks for the input folks! I'm leaning towards purchasing the TV from Costco. Kind of hard to justify spending $450 on warranty for a TV that costs $800 (in Best Buy's case).
