I'm not a fan of the 13 forwards. I think that kills the flow of how guys play. Constantly switching up partners on D is hard to get a rhythm. I think it's a lot easier to do the 7 dmen but I'm also not a fan of that too.

Nope,
I doubt the Flames will dress 13 forwards, way to risky to dress only 5 D.

Will be attending this one live tonight. It's my end of exams present to myself.

I'm hoping to see Hathaway back in. The team needs the energy he brings.

Brave fans support their team on game day.
Cowards only show off their gear after a win.
Go for it.

I just don't know how Hathaway gets into the lineup until someone starts struggling. The forwards have all been playing quite well lately.
I wouldn't mind seeing:
Ferland-Monahan-Versteeg
Gaudreau-Bennett-Brouwer
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik
Bouma-Stajan-Chiasson

if your co-workers don't already know you're a flames fan, you're doing it wrong.
and if they already know, it may not matter what you wear, you could get ribbed depending on the score.
support the team. support the ugly sweater. wear it with pride and have a good night.

I would guess Wotherspoon will be in the lineup
Jokipakka had a really tough game against the Lighting.

Yeah, Jyrki was awful against Tampa. It's time for Wotherspoon to see the ice.
If I had to guess, I'd say this is probably tonight's lineup:
13 - 93 - 39
10 - 23 - 36
19 - 11 - 67
64 - 18 - 79
5 - 27
7 - 6
26 - 29

All winning streaks have to end sometime. Might as well be tonight for the Jackets. This will be a close one I think.
4-3 Flames.

Congrats on getting through them (that was around 45 years ago for me ha ha!). Assuming Flames win, waiting for the ATL will be well worth it!! Enjoy, and have a pop or two to boot.

It doesn't sound like they're making any changes for tonight. Same line-up as Wednesday.

No Hathaway seriously makes no sense. I just don't get it. He's been playing great lately while Bouma has threw a few big body checks and put himself out of position constantly.
Aside from his few big hits a game, he has been bringing nothing to the table defensively and energy wise.

To be fair, Bouma created that 2-on-1 that resulted in Ferland's goal last game.

True, but I don't really look at offensive production from fourth line energy guys. Those come and go but the constant should be the hard play and energy. Hathaway has brought exactly that every game, pretty much every shift while Bouma takes so many shifts off.
And Hathaway isnt no slouch offensively either compared to Bouma. He has 7 points in 28 career NHL games while Bouma has 10 in his last 60 games.

I'm hoping that the coaching staff has realized that Hathaway's energy is tough to keep up for an entire 82 game schedule so they are just giving him some time to rest a little bit before getting back into the line up.
