When was the last Flames game played where they were involved in an all out brawl or in excess of 200 / 300 penalty minutes? Was it the Vancouver & Torts game? We need another one of those.
I think there will be a lot more bloodshed in tomorrow's Leafs-Nucks game than there will be tonight.
If the Wild actually dress a plugger it's just going to make it even easier for Ferland-Hamilton-Hathaway to dominate their assignment. The best revenge is on the scoreboard.

So with the goon the Wild have called up, supposedly to be a deterrent to any shenanigans the Flames have in mind to avenge Johnny, what is the over/under on the number of fights in this game?
1?
I'll take the under. I'd like retribution, but the flames can't afford to give away powerplays for redemption
Bad idea. If I was a cynic I would guess that this will be the night the zebras will be directed to enforce slashing, a directive that will evaporate after tonight's game.
It's worth the 2 minutes. Our PK has been performing well and we might even get a short handed goal. Totally worth it to break Staals hands. If the wild really were innocent they wouldn't be dressing a goon tonight.

It shouldnt have come to this.
Someone should have sat the officials in a chair and pried their eyes open 'A Clockwork Orange' style and made them watch the tape of the last game over, and over and over again until there are five lights and they've seen the error of their ways.
And if they dont see five lights then fire their asses.
"Crazy allegations."

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
If these are actually the starting lines and Sean Monahan ever wants to be captain of the Calgary Flames, he goes psycho on Staal the moment the puck is dropped from the ref's hand.

That will never happen.

Fine. Every Flames player digging for the puck drives their stick blade down into the skate laces of every Wild player.
Besides, everybody knows that if you make it through the rematch game that you can pretty much straight up murder another player in future games with very little consequence.
