I miss the days when OT was almost an automatic 2 points with Gaudreau, can't get back soon enough

Glad Elliott got it to OT before letting in his obligatory softie...

Really? Elliott, glad he almost had that but what do people want from this guy? I just don't get it. Couple of big saves on breakaways too.

Rough game, tough loss. But a good overall trip, when they were expected to pretty much lose every game.

He did and that line change resulted in Hickey being open at the side of the net to tip in the winning goal.

Yup. Not a single good player on the team. Never has been. Never will be. Doomed to finish last forever. Everything sucks. Better dynamite the Saddledome before the plane gets back to YYC; then they might reroute the flight to some place that actually wants a hockey team, and we'd never have to see CP go nuts with negativity again.

Elliott should have iced the puck. Far safer to have three sticks in front of him.

Frolik was so worried about someone handing him a bloody stick, he just got lost out there. Do what any good player does. Stay square with your opponent and go full bore defense mode. He looked like an idiot, and cost us.

Not going to win many games scoring one goal.

Monahan had a decent game. Versteeg looked good. Ferland was amazing. Elliott was solid, OT goal was stoppable but other than that I liked his game.

3-2-1 on the road trip isn't ideal but it could have been worse.

This schedule has been an absolute joke. Team appears to be playing better overall but hard to tell when you play every damn night and are gassing out. Flames have played FIVE more games than Phoenix already. Give me a break.

Seriously, what's wrong with people? They're acting like a last second big time deflection is a beach ball. Makes no sense.

Elliott had a great game.

Glad they got the point but that was the Islanders. Worst team in the league. Not a good OT but was a great push in the 3rd. wish we saw more of that all game.

Flames lucky to get a point in this one. Their effort in the first two periods was pathetic. Good on 'em for finally waking up in the 3rd, but it's not good enough.

Oh well. 7 of 12 points on the road trip is certainly more than I expected with Johnny out of the lineup, so I guess it's somewhat of a success.

PP continues to be dreadful. For the love of god, please fix!

Positives: Jankowski, Ferland, Versteeg, and the PK were all good.
