Kind of an odd game in LA...Kings had a goal disallowed, when Pearson shoved Hjalmarsson into Darling to cause interference...then the 'Hawks didn't even get a SOG for over half a period, but scored on the 1st SOG...then the 'Hawks did better with possession in the 2nd, but, the Kings scored the goal.

A fast paced game, with some dicey puck handling and passing...it has been fun to watch.

The Avs don't use Colborne in the shootout. They deserve to lose.

Jeff Carter scores the winning goal, 66 seconds into overtime. The Kings win 2-1 and Budaj keeps on playing well in place of Quick.

The Ducks hang on for the 3-2 regulation win and the Canucks win 3-2 in the shootout. That wraps up a good night of Pacific and Mountain prime time hockey!

Seabrook had taken a delay of game penalty with at 18:59 of the 3rd...he was just getting back into the play when Carter scored...

Both Goaltenders were very good...

I knew the Leafs had some good rookies but I didn't think they would be this strong so early. Hope they can keep it up all year.

Marner tied for 1st in points and assists...3rd in goals...3 of the top 5 rookie point leaders are Leafs, 6 of the top 22 rookie point leaders are Leaf rookies

The Senators win 3-2 in reg time as Turris scored with 3:32 left in the 3rd period. Anderson stopped 32 shots to help Ottawa and Phaneuf scored for the Sens. There were 4 SO games. Jagr scores in the 1st period, Saad ties it up in the 3rd and the Panthers win it in the SO 2-1 over the BJs. The Blues and Penguins win 4-3 in the SO. Schwartz with 2 goals for the Blues and Malkin with 3 assists for the Penguins. The last SO had the Canucks winning 3-2 in the battle of the back up goalies, Pickard and Markstrom. All OOT games were decided by one goal except for the Leafs 4-2 win over the Capitals.
