Still love watching Paul Byron. Playing on the first line now. Should have had two goals but has one on the night

Heading the third period, the Habs lead 5-0 and the Sharks are up 3-0. Possible shutouts?

Montreal is a good template for Calgary, instead of going big like LA, go for speed and skill... Might have to get rid of Burke for that to happen.

WOW.

Panthers have struggled to score goals this year, but not Jonathan Marchessault. Scores with just 13 seconds left with the goalie pulled to tie the game at 2 against the Islanders.

Just before the end of a penalty kill (1 second) and following an icing, Gallant doesn't have a timeout, but does the old "change the goalie" trick to get some extra time for his team to have enough energy to make a play. The penalty expires, Reimer goes to the bench in exchange for Marchessault, and after a few passes in the offensive zone, Marchessault shoots from the outside of the face-off circle and one leaks through to tie the game.

Shots in the game? 39-19 for the Panthers.

We go to OT.

Tavares takes a penalty on the first shift of OT, and it becomes an absolute shooting gallery for Halak. Add a post by Ekblad, 3 huge blocked shots, and 3 big saves by Halak on that PK.

Intense.

WOOOO!!!

Little mini-Malgin scores in OT on a tip shot from Trocheck.

This follows that PK by the Islanders, and because there was no whistle, both teams played the rest of the game 4 on 4.

Big win

Should add, the Panthers were down 2-0 with just 9 minutes remaining in the game.

Taylor Hall is quietly putting together a solid season with 5G, 7A, and a +3 in 14 games. NJ is 8-3-3.
