I got 29, which is pretty good considering my zero knowledge of geology.

I got 30 mostly by guessing. Oddly enough, I changed a few of the answers that I actually knew because I assumed there was no way I actually knew those things.

I'd just like to point out that there is, in fact, a difference between Geology and Geography.

42. I think with a decent knowledge of Canadian geography/hustory and process of elimination there's only a handful of questions that are impossible to get without guessing.

Yeah I'm a failure. Probably explains why I spent 6 years at University.
But I'd be surprised if any of my geo friends did well on this. We don't study iceberg formations or the history of the Geological Survey of Canada.

The iceberg looked like a drydock. That was like the easiest question!

LOL. Well OK then. But the questions are far more keyed to physical geography than geology. I'm not sure any of the water or ice ones have anything to do with geology. In fact, I'd say 80% of it are for more related to geography than geology.

Hydrogeology is a branch of geology so that stuff is somewhat relevant although very few geologists who focus on rocks will actually know much hydro stuff.

It's still mostly surfical, which is the realm of physical geography. Hydrology typically is dealing with subsurface, though artesian flows are of interest and ground water may affect subsurface reservoirs. In general though the questions are not geared towards hydrogeology.
