Right now Andersen is the 18th highest paid goalie in the League so middle of the pack. It's too early to judge the contract now. He's playing with a new, young team that makes plenty of mistakes. Plus he has been unlucky...a few of his goals against have been flukey. I'll wait until mid-point of the season before calling him a bust. But he has let in a lot of team deflating goals this season so far. It seems like one every game.
It's only just begunas this is the beginning of that five year deal. I don't think he's as bad as he's shown so far but I don't think he was ever as good as he was in front of that Ducks team where every goaltender looks good.
Thanks. Now I have this stuck in my head. You couldn't use a different term could you.

The local Vancouver panel presently mystified by Sven Baertschi's slump, in which he has recorded only a single assist in 6 games and two periods of tonight's home encounter with the Ottawa Senators.

The Canucks lose their third straight because they cannot score to save their lives. They are presently trending well below their 28th goals/game rank from last season and appear likely to be the most offensively challenged team in the NHL by a notable margin.

Despite the boneheaded move Niemi made which allowed the Jets to score, the Stars won 3-2 in reg time. The Stars also had 6 forwards out of the lineup, their farm team players played well. Detroit looking good as they beat Carolina 4-2. The Sabres blow a 3-0 in the 3rd period as the Flyers come back to win 4-3 in the SO. All the Flyers goals were on the PP and the Sabres had 2 PPGs. Vlasic with the GWG as the Sharks win in OT, 2-1 over the Ducks. It's Coyote ugly as they lose again, 5-3 to the Devils.
