I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

So Rico, and anyone else, have you played the new Football Manager 2006 yet?

I was in England last week and was really bummed to see that it wasn't out there until next week. The guy in the computer store was pushing for me to buy the 2005 version. Yeah right! Have to order it online now.

I've been a CM addict since the first version and can truly relate to the "wife walks by shaking her head" statement. I'm sure my wife thinks I'm truly mental! Of course I probably am. After all I've got a PS2, XBox, Cube, PSP, GBA, along with a gaming PC. Oh and a laptop (for work. Ahem!) Considering I've got three small kids too I don't even have the time to play that much anymore. (Well not as much as a addict would like anyway!)

Downloading the '04 demo right now. I have never played this before, so I am interested to see what it's like.

Ok, I'm in love. It's a good thing I work shift work and am off for a couple days here. Time to go download the new one.

EDIT - Is the try and buy version the exact same thing I would be able to find in stores?

I got the direct download version 2 years in a row. Turned out good for me.

I'm in midterms right now.. No way I go near that thing right now.

Only issues I've really had are the drafting and Development of players... Just seems not to work at times (however I haven't played since I started school) and I know they released the patch a while ago too.

Here's a question...if I want to sign prospects that could go back to junior, how do I go about getting them to play for the NHL? For example, I signed Pouliot after training camp, but he got sent back to the QMJHL anyways. Is it not possible?

I have got the download version every time and it has worked for me. I am paying the price for staying up too late last night playing. This salary cap is a pain in the butt to manage around.
