It got locked for some reason. It was a good thread but he made it a day early by accident. Not sure why the mods felt it necessary to lock it.

My sentiment exactly.
Johnny started being Johnny finally in the 3rd period of last game, so hopefully he is finally 'back'. Gio started looking like old Gio again, and Monahan was finding space to get shots off.
Optimistic for tonight.

Hopefully this new system starts paying dividends tonight. I'm seeing a lot of good things from it, but if the players don't start finding success from it soon than they might stop believing in it.
Also, I can never figure out what's more beneficial in a matchup between a goaltender against his former team. Johnson will know many players tendencies, but they will know what his weaknesses are. Got to give the edge to the goalie since he's got more to prove against a former team.

Up in the air about how this turns out. Calgary is better than they've looked, and Buffalo has looked like butt in one game and amazing in the other (albeit, against Edmonton). So, we'll see which team shows up for each group!
I will be at the game tonight of course, looking forward to seeing them play live. I've never seen them win here live (though, I did see them beat Calgary in Buffalo one time, oddly enough), so you know who I'm cheering for
