Well...the Finns do historically carry something of a grudge against the Russians.

I did not say that he is bad teammate, I just said that I wish Johnny would do the same, how is that saying that he is a bad teammate. He did go to the World Cup without a contract and he did say that during the World Cup, that contract talks, will be put on hold during the World Cup, when he could have just said, my agent and the Flames will talk contract, while I play in the World Cup, so he isn't exactly a good mate either.

And how do you know this is Johnny's decision?
In fact Treliving mentioned that nobody is coming to camp without a contract. So it's actually Treliving who is keeping your precious Johnny from participating at camp.
Why are you trying to start more Johnny drama? Enough is enough, this is getting pathetic.

Would any of us go to work without a contract? It seems pretty simple to me, no contract, no work or services provided.

No, that's not a reasonable position. I think it's far more obvious that Johnny not only doesn't care about the Flames organization, but that he's secretly plotting against them since being drafted and is now trying to sabatoge their season.
Not just speculative, but blatantly obvious

Logic and circumstance doesn't matter to some. All they see is a guy not a camp because of money, and thus, not a team player, while forgetting all the other factors involved.

Fair enough, if he holds out and legit holds out deep into the season then I'd re-evaluate my opinion based on the perceived gulf of difference between the two parties.
I still think this gets done, the Flames call the World Cup 'Johnny's Training Camp' and he hits the ground running without missing a beat.
If that isnt the case then we re-evaluate.
In the meantime, I'm sharpening my pitchforks and dousing my rags in gas. Just in case.

I totally agree. If there is a hold out, I'll probably be upset. Until this goes one way or the other, I don't see a reason to feel anything about it at all.

Not to mention that Johnny also refused to negotiate during the past few weeks of the WCH. Plus he's not a camp while other players without a contract are.
Plus they saw that Monahan signed for a reasonable contract .

Again, Treliving is not allowing Johnny to attend camp without a contract.
Do you ignore posts that don't follow your narrative? Or do you just not read? It's one of the two.
