I'm a lefty but I golf and shoot righty, just because the first set of clubs/stick that I owned happened to be righty. Every other sport I play lefty. I remember hearing that there are more righty players in the US because there are more righty sticks available and vice versa in Canada. Can't vouch for it, but interesting to think about.

I'm right handed, shoot and golf left, bat right. No clue why.

I'm right handed in practically everything I do, even if it's a little unorthodox (being a right handed southpaw in combat sports)

They look at you like you are crazy due to that hideous blue sweater you wear.
(sorry, I just couldn't resist - you set yourself up too easily there!)

But what we're really curious about is the handling activity you conveniently left off the list.

Swing sports are supposed to be naturally easier with your dominant hand on top. Golf and baseball. Think of which way you would hit a forehand in tennis and this is your natural direction. Thus righties would naturally find it easier to hold the tennis racket in just there right hand and gold and baseball follow this direction.
Hockey is slightly different with most of the stick control (skating around with one hand on your stick ) and in puck control with your top hand. Thus it should be naturally easier to shoot left. The bottom hand is considered more for power and strength. Even though your dominant hand is stronger it also is more coordinated. It is easier to teach your weaker hand strength then coordination.
Of course exceptions exist based on how you originally were taught so most of those naturally are easier rules follow for first time or beginning players of the sport. Canada incidently has a higher proportion of left handed golfers then other places in the world because of the tendency for left handed hockey shooter to feel more comfortable to initially golf left handed.
Source: hours of research a few years ago trying to figure this out when my kids would tend to do all sports both ways to help them figure it out.
You are not wrong if you don't follow these rules that's just what my research on the subject indicated.
TLDR: research shows Righties are natural right handed in golf tennis and baseball and left handed for hockey.

For no reason at all, I always felt like guys who could shoot the puck the hardest in the NHL were right shots.

I'm definitely ambidextrous when it comes to non-sport related activities.
