PopNest are to me the best team left, both are top doubles players and after that first round scare they've really rolled and look to be building nice chemistry. So yeah Rafa won't be drained, but the Canadians are still the better team. Bring what they did the last two matches for the next two matches and they'll win gold.

I guess that was a really slow heat so he has 4 more heats to sit through to see if he makes the semi.

So Caldwell and Bouchard have the 2nd and 7th fastest times in qualifying! Lots of Canadians in action tonight in the pool. I don't remember ever being this interested in swimming at the Olympics.

We have 3 teams racing for medals tomorrow! Women's 8, Women's Double Sculls, and Men's 4
Edit: Women's 8 final is Saturday, thought it was tomorrow

Totally. It's always been one of my favourite Summer Olympics sports to watch, but consistently having Canadians in the medal mix has bumped it to a whole other level for me. I've actually been so into it that I was just now looking into aquatic drop-in rates at MRU for this weekend haha. It's got a hold of me!
