I'm not saying for sure that he was only there because of his skin colour, but I think if he's gonna say that's why he is off, than we can just as easily say the opposite.

Marty is only good when he tones it down and uses the feminine tone. I think about Michael Hutchence's voice and that matches some of the songs, but when Marty goes to aggressive screaming "modern" rock mode, I don't think INXS like it very much.

Why does everybody think J.D. will win? That guy gives me the creeps. He's a lazy, scheming, bullying human being. I don't think INXS will approve of his personality.

Mig has a sort of Mick Jagger look and the best male voice in the bunch. I'm biased because he was in We Will Rock you and I love Queen dearly.

And Suzie is amazing, Canadian, and the judges love her but I can't seem to imagine her fronting INXS. It just doesn't seem to match.

He has Vulcan eybrows too. He looks at the girls like he wants to R-Kelly them. If I was a girl I would mace the creepy bas**rd. He does have talent and would be the best frontman for the band but I don't see that he would get along with them for any length of time from how he apperars in the show.

INXS without Michael Hutchence is like Van Halen without David Lee Roth or Nirvana without Kurt Cobain. However, one of the remaining four couldn't possibly be worse than Terrence Trent Darby. They should just start a new band with their new front man/woman - its pretty clear that no one on the show has been able to sing Hutchence lyrics

JD but Marty could pull it off too i think. All good at this point though. Marty seems more angst and JD rock IMO.

While I enjoy JD more than anyone else in the competition, I think winning the INXS gig would only hurt him. He could accomplish a lot more by coming in second to Mig and releasing his own music. In true rock star fashion, I'd like to see him withdraw on the final show.

well JD rocked the house again last night and INXS were making noises about recording his song.
I think that Mig really blew it last night and hopefully hits the bottom. I just dont get the Marty connection at all...he is far far to "dark" for INXS. Im torn now...I thought Marty would go tonite...but it could be Mig...a coin toss.

Mig wasnt that bad, I think Suzie is gone for sure she butchered STP's Interstate Love Song. I originally had Mig as the front runner, but I think JD has taken over by a wide margin.

I think Mig was horrid. By far the worst one last night. Yes, he looks nice with no jacket, but he can't sing that well. I still have no idea why he hasn't hit the bottom 3 yet.

JD rocked the house last night. They won't give Mig the axe in his first visit to the bottom 3. I can't see Marty getting the axe yet, so it has to be Suzie gone tonight - which is too bad because she was very good last night. It was inevitable, though.

I missed it again. Well, kind of, I saw that it was on, but it was actually the "reality" episode where they had their interviews with INXS. I didn't see the new episode.

If Mig is as bad in the bottom three as he was last night, they'll axe him, and they won't care that it's his first trip there. They basically said he shoulda been there last week. It's the Aussies who get to vote earlier for him, vote longer, and vote more. Canada is split between two contestants....

He kinda freaks me out. He just stands there and stares at the camera.

He might do okay doing his own 'thing', but I'd be stunned if JD doesn't win the whole thing.

so Sweet Suzie is gone. Mig shoulda got the axe IMO....and how in the hell did Marty stay protected? What a travesty...JD blew him out of the water and I hope INXS realizes that.
Should be a fun finale...hopefully JD stays in tune cuz if he does theres no way in Haides that the other 2 should have a chance.

I prefer the fit of JD Cheese but I gotta say I think your view of Marty is well out of whack. I think It's easily 1a and 1b and either could take it. The voting public seem to agree and I believe the band do too. JD's a better rock fit but I think Marty is the better musician and songwriter. It's going to be a lot closer than you seem to give credit for. IMHumbleO

I thought Migs performance was very INXS last night. He was better than the other 3.

That being said, Marty does have a chance. INXS wants a new frontman for new music. Marty is that guy. If they would've wanted a Michael Hutchence clone then they could have picked any number of INXS cover band lead singers and had a competition between them. This competition is for a NEW singer of INXS.
