Guy signs a new contract, has a career year, breaks 20G mark as a defenceman and doesn't miss a game. Normally, after they sign their big deal, their performance drops. Gio's had two stellar offensive seasons, if he keeps it up, he's great value.
It really is amazing the meteoric and late rise that Giordano has had. From a solid top-4 dman in his late twenties to one of the best in the world in early 30's. Very interesting development path.
