Sometimes I think the cops intentionally make it vague as to who they're pointing at hoping you'll both pull in. The trick is to not be the first to move. Usually the other guy isn't sure either if he's the guy, and will usually cave. Then once he pulls over, you keep going. One cop can't do anything to go after you, and if one ever did, you'd just use the excuse that the other guy pulled in so you thought he's who the cop was pointing at. Hypothetically.

I was racing against a Civic in my old van. And winning of course (those vans had some go actually) so I doubt it was me he felt sorry for.
