I went with McDonald. He gets judged unfairly by his numbers, when you look closer he is facing 35+ shots most nights. He has never had a very good team in front of him.
I think when he has pro level players in front of him you will a drastic change in his numbers.
Pribyl too me is getting too much credit for putting up numbers in a ECHL equivalent.
Kulak is a tremendous skater, but he lacks the required hockey sense to be a regular at the NHL level.

Meh. He'll be 25 a month into this season. He's the type of player who, if he makes it, will get 2-3 good seasons in as an energy guy then fade away. I put very little emphasis on NHL readiness when I vote. Almost every other player has a bigger upside.

I loved Hathaway for the first 5 games or so and then it seemed like the momentum died down. I think at best Hathaway is a 4th line energy, role player. There are other players left that have much higher ceilings.

Oh man, there's nothing worse than starting to vote for a guy in these polls and then realize you are likely going to be doing it for many many rounds.
That is my lot as I continue to vote for Pollock.

Parson was a 2nd round pick, had good stats, and has won. Can't ask for much more.

He's a good bet to play in the NHL but has very low upside. He's a 4th line grinder. I think most people will be voting for players with top 4 d upside or top two line upside over 4th liners

Ceiling/potential is a more important prospect evaluation metric than NHLer readiness IMO.

I'm going with Kulak here. At this point he's shown enough to get a cup of coffee in the NHL, and serviceable 5-7 defenseman who come with low cap hits, are still very valuable pieces to have in your organization. I think Kulak has a very good chance to give you that, with an outside shot at being a top 4 guy for a couple of seasons when he's in his prime.

I would guess that him and a guy like Hamilton will finish a ways down. These guys will play in the NHL and get a few games. If hockey had a Wins above replacement level player. These guys would be the metric of the replacement level player.

He's a goalie prospect, which makes him a total crapshoot. Even Gillies, who is much older and more proven, isn't even close to being a sure thing.
