Favorite songs about hard liquor?
Steely Dan, "Black Cow":
http://www.songlyrics4u.com/steely-dan/black-cow.html
Just when it
Seems so clear
That it's
Over now
Drink your big black cow
And get out of here

I'm starting to take a shining to Jamesons Irish Whiskey. Not sure why, but the 8 gallons I consumed over the weekend left me with little to no hangover whatsoever.
Stolly and soda any other time though.

Jameson's eh? Wanna fight?? I hear Bushmills and Jameson drinkers don't like each other in Irland, just mentioning Bushmills at a pub that serves Jamesons will get you killed.

everyone LIKES scotch
it's not everyone's favourite.
for example i'll order it at a bar or occassionally pick up a bottle of glenfiddich or langvugalin (sp?) for polite company or for cigars, but it's less than 5% of my alchohol purchases.
i should say though - people i know that have less than 5 drinks per week often list scotch as a fave. must have been all those mothers tired of their teething kids 20 years ago, even non-drinkers have a latent addiction to scotch!

That's funny - never thought of it, but true. I fall in that class, as do most of my scotch drinking friends.
A beer might sit in my fridge for a month, but I'll have one or two nips of scotch a week.

allllll-right
i had a bad night on that stuff a few months back... led to me moving out. but man what an effect, the actual wormwood is overblown by reputation, but something in it makes you not pass out like say, bacardi 151 or everclear. your just keep going, alert and ridiculous.

Crown and Ginger Ale.
Gibsons if Crown not present.
On a cold day I'll have a shot of GM or Krupnik.....that stuff is amazing.

No actually NOT everyone likes scotch. I am a seasoned drinker and I have tried and tried to like that gasoline and cannot do it to save my life. I've tried it all, cheap to top shelf and it all tastes like kerosene to me.
