I don't have twitter, I pretty much just come here to get all my hockey news.

Days like today are great when people just sit back and let him do his thing. Imagine right now 3 or 4 threads started for every signing so far today. First two pages would be just loaded with locked duplicates and triplicates.

If you're hanging them up, thanks for all the hard work sureLoss.

I hope you aren't though.
Those are my fears also. It will never be the same

I rarely post, but actually read everything. But the big reason I come to this site is the posts from sureLoss. I really hope that we don't lose you. You are invaluable in our hockey info world.

I come here to thanks Sureloss! Thanks!!!
You have become the best, fastest news source to not only the Flames but the NHL. Even though you are in the fold, but it is your willingness to share and let us CPers informed. This is the heart this city needs! Whatever means to your statement, best of luck!

Why are we all coming here? The news. And hes bringing it to us promptly and accurately without editorial. How can anyone have any complaints?

And if so much as one person complains that they dont get the credit and internet thanks and he does they deserve a swift slap across the face.

I've never seen any indication that SureLoss does what he does for the 'Internet Glory.'

So yeah, Thanks SureLoss, I can tell you that your work is appreciated by the vast majority.
Ummm... are we reading the same thread? This entire topic is about thanking him for such timely updates. Nobody has an issue with that, quite the contrary.

+1 to Sureloss love btw... I dont even have to go to sports news sites or twitter, this stream is as fast or faster.

Sureloss.

I want to wax poetic about how much you mean to this site, and how most of us come here first for all of our Flames Hockey News. But alas, I am not a wordsmith so all I can say is this. If you truly are leaving, then Thank You for all you have done for this site in the past, and may you ever have dreams of Stanley Cups.

I know I for one will be coming here a lot less if this truly is the case.

Been a member for almost 10 years, and yeah I don't post a lot. But I do read the posts here daily and have relied on this site for news and opinion. Lately most if not all of that news has been posted by Sureloss and as noted, its been done in a simple straight forward fashion. I appreciate that. I don't like how some folks have made it their mission (or a game) to beat him to the punch, when the current system works and benefits everyone. It also makes this site more enjoyable to visit. If this site is becoming the personal playground of a select one or two posters who want to be the face of it, well, I'll find my news and opinion elsewhere too.

Truly, truly appreciate what you bring to this site Sureloss! Hopefully you still take part in this site, as pretty much everything you post is worthy of reading and I never wonder about the validity of the info.

Again thank you!

Out with the old in with the new, no, hold on I'm old........wait, what was I saying? Oh yeah, so I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say....to wrap up what I'm saying, thanks for all you do SureLoss!

You must have missed the ridiculous drama that erupted in the Krug thread.

Thank you sureLoss, you are truly the most valuable poster on this forum and the reason why I use CP as my new source. As far as I'm concerned, sureLoss is the news, I treat most news stories and rumours with a grain of salt until he posts and confirms them

The day he quits is definitely going to be one of the saddest days in CP history

Oh yeah, I only had the context of this thread to go from, and it was entirely glowing, making his comment completely confusing.

If sureLoss is retiring from CP I hope it's because he took an executive position with Twitter for millions.
