Does it ever work out for a team to have their three best forwards all on the same line?
Not saying I know, genuinely curious

Also, hey AC - random request - but do you have any interest in making a wallpaper of your intro logo (font just saying calgary flames or something?), it's gorgeous.

It's mostly just an upscale, so the quality isn't ideal but I think it should still work hopefully:

I'll look into re-rendering at the larger resolution.

Bennett is like a top two pick that we stole at #4. IMO he could end up better than 3/4 Oilers 1st overall picks. High skill plus skating, grit and determination, he's everything you want.

Tkachuk is like a stronger, slower LW version of Bennett. Having both would be lethal IMO

This video has to get you pretty excited as a Flames fan. Bennett had so many great chances that you'd imagine, even with average luck, would have been sure goals.
Based on the video he was probably unlucky not to have 5-10 more points this season.

Yeah, I honestly think at least 2 of his overruled goals should have counted.
Finding a permanent complimentary player for him to develop chemistry with will be huge.
Tkachuk could be that guy in the draft, though I still have hope that Ferland reaches that top 6 power-forward level. He had some chemistry with Bennett later on in the season.

Back to Bennett!
Wow what a package! Im convinced he will out score Monny next year.... AND I LOVE MONNY!
How did he slip to 4? Buffalo has got to be kicking themselves.
I'm still not sure if he's a centre or winger. I might like him better on wing because he is so great in the corners.

He's a center, almost certifiably. His strength in corners is not unlike similar sized players in Bergeron, Crosby, ROR, Kesler, Toews, Zetterberg... who are centers.

Only if we get him his winger. Not gonna score 60+ centering Ferland and Hathaway.

Reinhart had a solid rookie season too. I doubt Buffalo is upset with their choice.
I don't think any of the teams ahead of the Flames are kicking themselves over taking their guy instead of Bennett right now. If given the choice, I doubt any of them would swap their guy for Bennett straight-up today (and I don't think the Flames would swap Bennett for any of the guys taken ahead of him, except maybe Ekblad).
