Florida panthers as well. Would love to see Luongo win just to see the nuck fans reactions. Also Jagr.

Plus seeing the rats on the ice the other game brought back some great childhood hockey memories.

If any of the following happens, I'll be pleased:

Dallas going to the conference finals
Chicago winning the cup
Pittsburgh and Philly meeting up in a later round and destroy each other
Pittsburgh and the Islanders meeting up in a later round and destroy each other
Philly upsetting Washington (Go Ghost Bear!)
SJ and LA destroy each other and the winner goes on to thunder the Ducks
Lundqvist winning a cup
Thornton/Marleau winning a cup
Luongo winning a cup
Datsyuk winning one more cup before calling it quits

I've always been a closet Washington fan as I studied in DC as an exchange student and my roomie was doing an internship for their Marketing office --> free tickets to all home games.

Rangers is an obvious choice as I'd love to see King Henrik win the Cup.

Caps are #1 for me. Ovechkin has such a passion for the game and you just know him raising the cup would be one of those iconic photos that would last a lifetime ala Lanny or Bourque. It would also finally shut up the people who whine that he hasn't won a cup yet and therefore isn't as good of a player like Crosby. It would easily cement his legacy as one of the greatest of all time. And I love living through hockey moments like that.

Caps vs Panthers in the ECF would be my hope.

In the West I'm obviously hoping the Stars make the conference finals. But deep down I want the Sharks to make it to the finals. Not sure if the Stars and Sharks have a chance to meet in the WCF, but that would be my dream match up. Same with the Preds. The Hawks and Kings have had their time. Time for some vets like Thornton or Weber to get a crack at it.

My dream match up is Caps vs Sharks. Game 7 OT with OV scoring the winner on home ice.

Of course I want the Blackhawks to win the cup...And I resent anyone that assumes all Blackhawk fans ARE "bandwagon" fans...many of us have suffered though lean years (and many are also CUB fans, so Karma sucks!)...Myself, I've been a 'Hawk fan since my old man took me to the Boxing Day, 1965 game at the old Barn, Where Glenn Hall and Johnny Bower, with their bare faces hanging out, dueled to a 1-1 tie (so yes, I am also a fan that COULD accept regular season ties, and would like to see a 3 point win, 1 point tie, NO OT, regular season).

As far as other teams...NOT a fan of the East, although, I've felt that Trotz deserved the Adams, at least, once or twice, over the last decade. Speaking of Trotz, always did admire his work in Nashville, with a scratch team of castoffs, and a fan base that was totally alien to the game. First Pred assistant captain? draft pick from the Blackhawks, Greg Johnson. First Pred All-Star? Gift from the Blackhawks for not having chosen one of our Goaltenders, Sergei Krivokrasov. Top ten scorer for Pred history? Steve Sullivan, a Sutter casualty from the Blackhawks (him and Michael Nylander just didn't fit Brent Sutter's anti-creativity, grinder's only playing philosophy). So, I DO have a soft spot for the Preds, although, if Trotz was still their coach, I'd be actively ROOTING for them to, at least, meet the 'Hawks in the conference finals!

I loves me some LA King playoff hockey. I'm also rooting for San Jose, so whoever comes out of that series alive, that's who I'll be watching.
