Jeff Zatkoff is playing well in net so far for the Penguins as the shots are 12-4 in favour of the Rangers. It remains scoreless with approximately four minutes left in the first period.

God I love those Pens retro jerseys. Since I know you all care, I'm so glad I'm rocking my Lemieux right now.

are injuries the reason for the pens playing seven defense men?

Might be that he just isn't playing that well. Only managed 36 points in 60 games for the Rangers this season, scoring a meagre 15 goals. That's his lowest ever scoring season. Dunno if thats injury related, but it would suggest he is struggling big time at the moment.

It would a battle of the back up goalies with the Penguins using their second and third string goalies.

What is with late period goals the Rangers are allowing? Crosby's goal comes with 64 seconds left in the second period, 2-0 Penguins after forty minutes.
