Might be that he just isn't playing that well. Only managed 36 points in 60 games for the Rangers this season, scoring a meagre 15 goals. That's his lowest ever scoring season. Dunno if thats injury related, but it would suggest he is struggling big time at the moment.

What is with late period goals the Rangers are allowing? Crosby's goal comes with 64 seconds left in the second period, 2-0 Penguins after forty minutes.
