The role model Saskatchewan provides is to keep kicking out your governments and avoid political dynasties.
The divine PCs were horrible and corrupt. So bad the party did not exist anymore. The Romanow NDP years fantastic. The Blakney NDP years terrible. Calvert wasn't great but was better than say Redford or Stelmech. Wall has been good for them.

Oh wait, there's no federal Sask party that they needed to protect by delaying things.

Well to be fair there is no reason that Wall couldn't do that because they've already been in power and have already had complete access to everything. Not many people would expect that everything was left perfectly for the incoming government here in Alberta. I agree that they could've put things together faster than they did here, but the situation was a little different.

"we" had government, and you got to whine. Now "you" have government, so we get to whine.
If you're truly upset about it, realize that you are looking at a mirror image of yourself in the past.

I agree, no way anyone would expect an instant budger from the NDP. No reason we couldn't have had a fall budget though.

I don't know the man well enough to dislike him - you are assuming things about me you don't know.
Fear doesn't equal dislike.
If I remember correctly, he stated things during the federal election which had me concerned, I do not remember what, and am not looking them up, but that doesn't mean my fear is unfounded. It means he is way to low on my radar right not.

So, you think you remember something concerning from a while back, but can't remember what it was, and you're not willing to look it up.... and that doesn't make your fear unfounded?
What could possibly make your fear unfounded, if the above circumstances do not?

This is one of the biggest problems with politics today. That its covered like sports teams. There is no "we" and "they" just individual policies that should be evaluated case by case. No one should state I hate the NDP. People should say I am against corporate tax increases because XXX. Instead its just dumbed down to stupidity. And that is what political parties are counting on. Energize your base, and buy votes in key areas to win an election.
Instead of thoughtful policy that doesn't necessarily always fit with your ideology.

Sir Smug High Horse: My comment was not that you cannot whine, it was commenting on your need to pollute as many threads as possible with said whining. Whine all you want, Sir Smug High Horse, but try to keep it to the threads that discuss the topic you wish to whine about. For instance:
http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=153166
and
http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=151861
etc.
I came here to read about Saskatchewan Provincial Election Results.

Good, but pretty much expected. Saskatchewan just not ready to give the NDP another go, for good reason. Other parties just aren't an option either.
He proved he can do well in a boom, now let's see if he can perform on the other end of the scale. He promotes his provinces interests so that's a huge plus already

I remember Wall being very anti-refugee last year. Kinda Trumpish. Has he changed his stance?

He was not 'anti-refugee', he was critical of the Liberal Government's determination to accept 25,000 refugees by the end of 2015. He felt there should not be a hard date, ironically the Liberal's realized that was more sensical as well.
Trumpish, really ??
