I think he's a huge add to the radio broadcast team. Great on colour, but my favourite is his post game takes. Always either confirms what I see or sets me straight on something I missed.

I have to admit that when Loubo first started doing Flames games on Sportsnet TV, I found his style a little unusual. Over the years, he won me over... Intelligent, diligent, professional and witty. I hope he's back soon.

He does good job of broadcasting Dawgs baseball games on Shaw TV or walking the concourse of Seaman stadium talking to fans. His love for baseball equals his passion for Flames hockey. Great guy all around.

Hope he gets well soon!
Enjoy him on the game calls, as he's passionate about the team and passionate about the players, almost to a fault (ie. russel convo), which as a fan is fun to hear, as we share the same enthusiasm.
That aside, seems like a nice, simple person, wish him and his family the best thru what i would imagine is a tough time.

Derek Wills was on fan960, and he just said that he's fairly certain Loubo will be back for the start of next season. They're still trying to figure out exactly what's wrong.

On the PBP Wills mentioned the tribute and said he is at home in Mississauga with his wife.
I didn't know if that meant he lives there or had to recover there with his wife.
