I assumed CP would be dragging you through the streets by now for encroachment of a handicap spot. Guess you caught us on a good day! Now hang your head in shame

I've seen parking authority pull out tape measures and make a decision based on inches. You look like you're a few feet past the sign unfortunately.

This is bad advice. Eventually warrants are issued. If you are coming through customs you can be arrested for unpaid parking tickets if enough have been amassed. Also, getting pulled over by a police office, these unpaid tickets will show and agitate the investigation or give him grounds for arrest.
Impark tickets and private parking companies is a civil matter. These are not on record.
The city isn't hanging around waiting to collect $20 extra a ticket. The 20$ fee is so that you pay and settle within the timeframe they set. Otherwise the other mechanisms set in. With government it's usually pay now or go to jail as payment term.

Your fee is a lot bigger though so probably not worth the risk.

Maybe polak is a Freeman on the Land and the police are restricting his right to travel.

Well I've re registered my car since both tickets. I've traveled a ton since the first I got away with (that was like 5-6 years ago).
Not worried.
If they send you a reminder, pay it. Didn't get one for either.

I was at browns social house on 17th one evening and there is a zone exactly like this, we watched car after car pull up after 6pm and every 20 minutes the parking authority rolled up because they knew it was a ticketing hotspot.
I'm of the opinion the signage is BS, it makes it looks like it's only a handicapped spot until 6 then in tiny letters it states it's 24 hour. Your zoomed in photo makes the 24h part look way bigger then it does on the street.
But why would the city fix the signs so handicapped spaces are open when they can let people mistakenly park in them then ding them 200+ bucks a pop. You have my sympathies my friend and if I was King of the universe you'd only be getting a warning and those signs would be changed so they're not so cryptic.

Looks clear to me that it's a handicapped spot. The timing thing is only when it's restricted to 2 hours and payment required - for those with handicapped parking privileges. If part of your car is past the post, you are in the handicapped spot.

Why would anyone think a handicap spot is not 24hrs? Sign or no sign.

In all cases, i've agreed with my inner self to go no where near handicap spots at any time for any purpose.

It might be a bit confusing, but I'd say if it didn't say "24h" beside the handicap permit req'd, then you might have a case for confusion/inconclusive signage.
I'd say the fact someone intentionally assessed the signage and concluded it to be okay to park is evidence enough the city could do a better job on that one. Perhaps not have the regular 2hr arrow going both ways would go a long way for that.
