That is sadly perfect.

Take a good book to read, it's not like either team is actually going to play hockey.

Five trips up to that crap hole between 1999-2005 to watch the Flames play. Makes the Saddledome look like the Taj Mahal.
I'd say I have a winning record watching up there of 3-1-1 in those games, but no one who enters that building feels like a winner by the end of the night.

An Oilers jersey being thrown on the ice, in the last game ever at Rexall, would make my entire year.

I assume it would be tossed if the greasers get a go ahead goal?

Only Flames game I ever saw us lose up there was a pre-season game. Kind of sad I couldn't make it back up there before the end of the season though.

Just wear the shirt you wore that day.
Or if you really want to fit in, wear the shirt you've been wearing for the past 4 days.

Saw my first pro game there in 1978, it's been more than 20 years since my last one. Bummed I won't be able to get there again (or take my son there).

I sold my tier one tickets for the final game. I have absolutely zero nostalgia for a building.
I was born in 82, so I don't remember the 80s championships. I vaguely remember the 90 cup win, and the rest of the organization's history? Well, it hasn't been good. Bye bye Rexall. Won't miss ya.
